Aquaglide Chelan 140 HB Inflatable Kayak
The Aquaglide Chelan 140 HB (previously the Chelan HB Two) Inflatable Kayak is a high-pressure, recreational touring option for one to two paddlers. Perfect for two paddlers out for a day of fun, or one paddler needing extra room for gear. Designed for recreational touring and all-around use, the Chelan flagship series is constructed from a commercial grade smooth-skin Duratex hull material which dries quickly.
The “Hard Bottom (HB)” 6 to 12 PSI high-pressure floor provides rigidity and stability which – when coupled with a streamlined silhouette and removable tracking fin – enhances the paddling performance. Paddlers will find the Chelan 140 HB – with its longer waterline and piercing bow – provides great tracking and glide, allowing one to cover long distances.
Front and rear spray guards keep paddlers dry. Bow and Stern have ample bungee deck lacing for attaching gear.
Paddling comfort is enhanced with the adjustable Pro-Formance seats, featuring an inflatable base and high backrest with plenty of storage features – mesh pockets, integrated fishing rod holders and removable beverage holder. The seats can easily be moved or removed to accommodate kayakers of varying sizes, or to allow solo paddling.
Great for touring and all-around use. Good speed, tracking, stability and also comfort with storage area. Can also use the optional single and double decks for more enclosed seating, or to add an optional spray skirt.

Chelan HB boats combine a tough Duratex™ tube construction with the supremely rigid Hard-Bottom™ floor. This combination of materials creates a stiff and responsive inflatable. The innovative Splash-Guards™ positioned fore and aft of the cockpit help keep paddlers dry and also the ample accessory straps grace the bow and stern providing easy stowage for dry bags or other gear. In addition, sturdy molded handles are positioned around the boat for convenient boarding and transport.
For added comfort the PRO-formance™ seats provide an array of thoughtful features including adjustable air cushion, high backrest, plentiful mesh storage pockets as well as integrated fishing-rod holders. The Fin System includes a stiff, foiled fin with unique quick-release for easy setup.
Furthermore, customers can unleash the full potential of the Chelan by using one of Aquaglide’s High Pressure Pumps. Touring Deck Covers are also available for the Chelan Series. Customers need to purchase pumps and other accessories separately.
