Clamcleat CL258 Racing Fine Line (Starboard)
The tooth design allows a quick, positive lock that is easy to release, add this to its low profile and ability to hold high loads, it makes an ideal cleat for adjusting leech lines on larger sails. Use a backplate when riveting a cleat onto fabric to prevent the rivet pulling through.
It can be mounted in two positions and can be sewn or riveted to the sail. Manufactured from aluminium for light weight and durable performance the Clamcleat CL258 is available in two finishes:
- CL258 has a silver stove enamel finish for a cost effective, high quality coating.
- CL258AN has a hard anodised finish to give the ultimate hard wearing surface.
The nylon version of this cleat is the the CL212. For the other side of a sail please look at the CL259. Use a backplates CL212BP-B and CL212BP.
