Allen Pro Ratchet Blocks – Switchable
Allen Brothers Pro Ratchet Blocks include a ratchet mechanism that can easily be switched on or off. Even under load the swivel head can be locked in a fixed position. Thanks to Allen Brothers ‘sheave technology’ the blocks have grip under load and easy release when the load is decreased. A cheek converter allows port or starboard deck mounting. The 50mm switchable ratchet block will be ideal for sailors wanting to downsize from the 60mm without losing the inherent strength of this design.

These ratchet blocks are ideal for dinghy mainsheet systems such as Laser, Topper and RS Aero as well as tripple or quadruppled up for higher loaded cat and small keelboats.
Switchable Ratchet Blocks are available as
- Single block available in 40mm, 50mm and 60mm size sheaves
- Also available in triple and quadruple configurations
- Easy to switch on or off, even under load for total flexibility
- Handles ropes from 6mm to 12mm diameters
