TeamSky Sailor Rob Partridge at the Moth Worlds 2015
Temperamental weather and broken boat
Despite having a great qualifying regatta in Europe the Moth Worlds in Sorrento didn’t go as planned. Rob was unable to test or race in the qualifiers due to major mechanical issues and was forced to join the ‘Silver’ group.
The weather played its part too with officials cancelling racing for the Silver fleet a number of times as priority was given to the ‘Gold’ fleet.
When able to actually participate Rob Partridge did manage to post some good results, namely a 9th in the final race. However due to all the DNC’s and DNF’s Rob had to settle for 39th place out of 76 in the Silver Fleet. Not too bad considering he only managed to finish 5 out of 11 races!

Never mind, we have great hope for Rob’s next venture, the Moth Europeans.
